We continue to innovate at an unprecedented pace, delivering more hundreds of feature enhancements since general availability (GA) in November 2023 – and we’re now going further with agents in Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Copilot Actions, and Copilot Pages rich artifacts.
Introducing Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat
Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat gives every Entra ID user access to web-grounded chat with the latest large language models including GPT-4o, features like Pages and file upload, and enterprise data protection at no additional cost. Additionally, customers can build and access agents, for tenant-wide use, right in the chat and priced on a metered basis, and it offers IT controls, including enterprise data protection and agent management. Moving forward, every organization will have a mix of Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat and Microsoft 365 Copilot – our best-in-class offering – to drive AI transformation at scale. Role-based Copilot
Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales, Microsoft 365 Copilot for Service, and Microsoft 365 Copilot for Finance bring together the power of Microsoft 365 Copilot with role-specific insights and actions to streamline business processes, automate repetitive tasks, and unlock productivity. These capabilities help sales, service, and finance teams focus on more strategic work and improve access to insights for better decision making. Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales and Microsoft 365 Copilot for Service are both generally available to customers, and Microsoft 365 Copilot for Finance is now in public preview. Copilot for CSP partners
Starting December 1, 2024, customers can pay for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales, and Microsoft 365 Copilot for Service using monthly billing for annual-term subscriptions. This new billing option for annual-term subscriptions will be priced 5 percent higher than annual term subscriptions with annual (upfront) billing. This change addresses customer feedback for more-flexible billing options for Copilot and concerns about annual upfront billing costs.
To help make Microsoft 365 Copilot available to organizations of all sizes, we have recently expanded prerequisite requirements to include several new SKUs such as Office 365 E1 and Microsoft 365 Business Basic. Purchases can be made through Cloud Solution Providers (CSPs).
